Go said their franchising of the Go Hotels brand is taking off with at least six divisions under construction.

One particular franchisee is constructing five divisions in Metro Manila with the 1st one opening next year in Parañaque near the airport. Another franchisee is opening one Go Hotel within Tagum City in Davao.

Meanwhile, Go said they will be opening next week the 124-room Move Hotel in Butuan City beside the Robinsons mall while Summit Resorts will open its first Community Manila branch at Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City.

Summit Hotels will also be opening its second branch in Cebu City at the Robinsons Galleria complex generally Maxilom Avenue.

Move Hotels Ortigas will be the chain’s eight branch nationwide and the second within Metro Manila. The other branches have been in Mandaluyong, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, Otis Manila, and Iloilo.

“When we first introduced, we had no idea what would happen. I was testing a product. After the first one, we were quite excited. We thought it could be replicated everywhere, ” said Go of Go Hotels.

Go said Go Resorts Ortigas is so far the best performing branch in the chain, just a few a few months after its soft opening.

“If you look at our hotels now, only one is in MM. the first one. This is the second one, there’s a lot of business market here in the area. Is actually quite popular. I think this will be our best room rate hotel in the Move Hotel chain, ” he said.

Robinsons Hotels & Resorts general manager Elizabeth Gregorio said Go Hotels Ortigas is located in the first four floors of Robinsons Cyberscape Alpha, just a stone’s throw away from Robinsons Galleria mall.

She said it’s the very first Go Hotels branch that offers king-sized beds with plush sheets which could fit a family of four in the room. It also offers in-room massage therapy services.
