Brand new DFW airport automated airport exit payment system postponed, was to get started Mon

GRAPEVINE, Texas – An upgraded payment system for drivers leaving Dallas-Fort Worth Airport terminal has been postponed due to problems moving to the new method.

International airport officials say the brand new automated parking control program had been scheduled to start Mon.

An airport statement Sunday evening said no date has been set to apply the new method amid the transition problem. Further details weren’t immediately launched.

The brand new system will be completely automated at entry and will function more traffic lanes. Drivers can quickly process their own dealings with a North Texas Toll Authority TollTag or a credit card because they leave.

International airport spokesman Jesse Magana (muh-GAHN’-yuh) says the existing system could keep without any reduction to service and clients shouldn’t notice any changes.
